“2degrees Team Talk”


By entering into this Athletes Messages promotion run by Two Degrees Mobile Limited (2degrees) during the Paris 2024 Olympic games (Promotion), you agree to these terms and conditions (T&Cs). The Promoter of the Promotion is 2degrees. 2degrees may communicate or advertise the Promotion using any channel.


Promotion Details


Entry Period


  • Entry opens on 15 July 2024 at 12:00 am and closes on 11 August 2024 at 11:59 pm (Entry Period).


How to Enter


Website

  • Entry is via 2degreesteamtalk.nz

  • Entrants may enter as many times as they like via the website entry method.

  • To be eligible for the Prize, entrants must fill out the relevant entry form in full during the Entry Period.

  • When entering, entrants will need to share their athletes messages which can be in text, video and photo format.

  • The Promotion is not open to employees of 2degrees or Sky Network Television Limited (Sky), their agents, contractors, consultants, or their families or to other persons assisting with the Promotion.


Winner Selection

  • 2degrees and its fellow judge Sky, will mutually select the major prize winner. The winner will be emailed or called. If the winner does not respond to that email or phone call within 72 hours, the process will repeat and a new winner will be selected and contacted without liability to any person.

  • 2degrees will select daily winners for secondary prize(s). The winner(s) will be emailed or called. If the winner(s) does not respond to that email or phone call within 72 hours, the process will repeat and a new winner will be selected and contacted without liability to any person.

As part of this Promotion the winner will receive 1 major prize(s) consisting of:

Entrants


    • Entrants must be aged 18 and older. If you are aged between 13 and 18, you must have your parent or guardian enter and your parent or guardian must be visible in the video or photo submission.

    • Entrants must be permanent residents of New Zealand.

    • 2degrees is not responsible or liable for any late, lost or misdirected entries or for any problems or technical malfunctions which may result in delay or failure to enter you into the Promotion.

    • All entries in this Promotion become the property of 2degrees and will not be returned to the entrants.

    • Each entrant understands that 2degrees may collect, hold and use each entrant’s personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and for the purposes of the Promotion.

    • Each entrant agrees to 2degrees sharing their athletes message submission with third parties including Sky to create promotional activity which will be displayed on 2degrees and Sky’s online platforms and New Zealand House at the Marriott Champs-Élysées during the Paris 2024 Olympic games.


Winners


In connection with the Promotion, each winner:


    • Must provide 2degrees with their details for the purposes of providing the winner with the applicable prize and 2degrees may pass on a winner’s details to Sky.

    • Agrees that acceptance of a prize constitutes a winner’s consent to be photographed and/or interviewed by 2degrees or Sky and for 2degrees or Sky to use his or her name, city/town of residence, competition entry and/or photographs and interviews for the Promotion or publicity purposes without compensation.

    • Authorises 2degrees and Sky to use any photos, recordings or other assets collected from the winner by 2degrees on 2degrees’ and Sky’s online platforms (such as their websites and social media channels).

  • The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash or credit.

    • The decisions of 2degrees on all matters relating to this Promotion are final and no further correspondence will be entered into. 2degrees reserves the right to verify the validity of an entry or a winner's right to redeem the prize in accordance with the T&Cs.

    • To the extent permitted by law, 2degrees excludes any liability it may have to you arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Promotion.

    • 2degrees reserves the right to cancel or amend this Promotion at any time.

    • If a winner does not comply with the T&Cs 2degrees has the right to select a new winner.


Personal Information


    • By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to the use of their names, photographs and likeness for promotional/advertising purposes, and agree to make themselves reasonably available for this purpose. Any copyright associated with an entry will be owned by 2degrees.

    • 2degrees collects and holds personal information provided by entrants for the purposes of administering this Promotion and for future 2edgrees promotional purposes. All personal information provided by entrants will be held by 2degrees and will not be provided to third parties unless otherwise specifically set out in the T&Cs or Privacy Policy. Under the Privacy Act 2020, entrants have the right to access and correct their personal information and/or unsubscribe from receiving marketing materials.
